Job title: Commissioning Technician

Department: Industrial Aftermarket

Location: San Pietro in Casale (Bologna)

Role objective and key responsibilities:

The refrigeration technician is an expert in industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia, freon, Co2).

Main activities are:

• supervising operating and installation systems
• taking care of on-site technical assistance, to support the customer’s technicians
• involved in commissioning and start-up of new plants
• managing plant maintenance both in Italy and abroad
• keeping and maintaining accurate logbooks, documentation and reports as required by company policy

Education:

Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
Mechanical, Thermomechanical, Electrical degree (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
High School technical diploma + refrigeration trainings is also acceptable
B and international driving licence, toxic gas licence, F-gas licence

Key Selection Criteria

Technical skills

• experience on industrial refrigeration systems, both in terms of start-ups and maintenance is a plus
• understanding of mechanical drawing and wiring diagram
• willingness to travel for long periods and frequently
• knowledge of mechanical repairs is preferable
• tig welding and brazing skills are preferable

Soft Skills

• ability to work independently on the basis of the directives received
• ability to relate profitably with the customer’s manager and technicians on site
• resilience and resourcefulness in dealing with unforeseen problems
• sense of responsibility in solving problems
