The models in the CL-H compact Hermetic series are chiller cooling tower air-cooled condensing units equipped with several hermetic compressors, specifically silenced for external residential environments and for industrial use.
The series is divided into 2 models: GCL for operating temperatures from 5° to -20° with nominal absorption from 8.7 to 44.2 kW and HCL for operating temperatures from -15° to -40° with nominal absorption from 7.8 to 30.9 kW.
All models have been built around a base frame made of pre-painted metal sheets with a condenser that is equipped with a thermal or pressostatic speed variator and is placed vertically on one or two sides of the unit, with the fans placed on the cover panel of the frame. .
The compressor compartment, which is insulated with simple ashlar to reduce the noise level during operation, is separated from the condenser by a bulkhead that still allows internal ventilation.
The 3 or 4 compressors are mounted in parallel share the delivery and suction manifold and are fixed to the base frame through rubber blocks that avoid potential vibrations of the unit during operation.
The construction type and the hermetic compressors, available in various models for a power range covered from 6 to 38.4 kW make the CL-H versatile and safe machines.
Each compressor is also equipped with the relevant taps both in the delivery and the suction phase.
The oil is controlled by a separator and oil equalization connected by a manifold mounted on the compressor lights.
The refrigeration system is completed by liquid receivers, equipped with a safety valve, a dehydrating filter, a liquid level alarm, a passage light, and shut-off taps.
As a standard feature, with a view to increasing efficiency and safety, the CL-H units are equipped with double minimum and maximum pressure switches for general and emergency use that are adjustable and also have an automatic reset, 3 pressure switches for compressor control in emergency operation, one minimum pressure detection probe, for suction capacity control, and a double maximum and minimum pressure gauge.
The standard installation involves placing the CL-H units on the ground outside avoiding reductions to the room volume.
The CL-H units are monitored and customized in operation by means of an electrical panel placed on the side of the body, while the control unit manages all of the settings centrally.
The panel protected by the closing panels includes the disconnector, the power distribution system and the protections for the compressor and fan via motor protection switches and safety fuses, respectively.
Four emergency lights, a fan block and, a pressure switch block complete the profile of a reliable, safe and versatile condensing unit thanks to the design and creation of a complete industrial refrigeration system.
