The ZC units are compact industrial glycol chiller, specifically designed for outdoor installation, which use freezing water to solve cooling problems in industrial plants.

The series is divided into 2 models: GZC for temperatures up to -10° in versions 11-21-31-41-22-32-42-52 and 62 and HZC for temperatures up to -20° in versions 11-21- 31-12-22-32-42.

The performance of the ZC units depends on the % of ethylene glycol that is present in the cooled water, allowing a great versatility of use due to the wide range of cooling capacity ranging from 10.6 kW up to 197 kW.

Protected by a frame and a cover in galvanized steel sheet, the refrigeration system is equipped with 1 or 2 semi-hermetic compressors with independent circuits with built-in thermal protection and equipped with crankcase resistance, lubrication pump and diffrential oil pressure switch.

Shut-off taps and anti-vibration delivery and suction dampers complete the standard equipment of an efficient and safe compression phase.

The condensing unit, in the standard version, consists of a residential type condenser with low-noise 6-pole

axial fans placed vertically on 1 or 2 sides of the machine and equipped with a speed variator for a significant reduction of the noise pollution during machine operation.

The brazed plate evaporator, available with 1 or 2 circuits, is insulated with suitable closed cell material and made of AISI 316 stainless steel.

The refrigeration circuit is completed by the separator of the liquid that is being sucked, an expansion thermostatic valve, a dehydration filter, a safety valve, an antifreeze safety and high and low pressure switches, as well as the oil pressure gauge.

The ZC units are controlled by means of a lateral electrical panel complete with a disconnector and safety fuses.

A unit control microprocessor monitors the chilled water temperature regulation functions, the control of the operating parameters, the self-diagnostics of any faults and the ability of the user to control and monitor the ZC remote operation completing the profile of a high performance refrigerating machine that is safe and easily manageable.
