Job Title: Procurement Section Manager

Goal(s): Ensure procurement guidelines defined by senior management are applied through the provided tools and procedures

Responsibilities and Duties:

The procurement manager is in charge of the procurement business process as well as of the cost down activities through negotiation with the suppliers. He/she will find alternative parts and suppliers in order to secure production, also in collaboration with EDC (Research and development) department, and ensure quality, cost, delivery to the company with proactive actions.

The candidate has full responsibility to manage the team members, organizing their daily activities and taking care of their performance and development.

Qualification:

Degree (preferably mechanical engineering)

5-7 years of experience in the role. Experience in refrigeration sector will be preferential.

Skills:

  • Office (excel, word, etc.)
  • ERP (SAP preferably)
  • English, both verbal and written
  • Team management
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge of business processes within a manufacturing environment (e.g. MRP processes, planning logic and warehouse organization)
  • Knowledge of main negotiation technics
