The models in the SAS series, available in a split or monoblock version, are refrigeration units freeze dry machine for preserving cured meats and cheeses in small and medium-sized rooms for commercial use.

The SAS units are called “mini-conditioners” for constant and detailed control of the temperature and humidity levels during operation.

The working range includes operating temperatures from +25° to -+10° while the achievable humidity range varies from 60% to 80%.

The SAS monoblock series is offered in 5 models that differ in terms of power and dimensions: SAS 221 (cooling capacity 2.9 kW, room volume 5m³ for drying and 20m³ for aging), SAS 135 (cooling capacity 4.8 kW, room volume 11m³ for drying and 40m³ for aging), SAS 235 (cooling capacity 8.6 kW, room volume 23m³ for drying and 70m³ for aging), SAS 335 (cooling capacity 14.6 kW, room volume 36m³ for drying and 125m³ for aging) and SAS 340 (cooling capacity 18.5 kW, room volume 45m³ for drying and 160m³ for aging).

The central feature of the design is a compact and functional body in galvanized steel sheet, equipped with removable panels for easy access to the internal components of the refrigeration system, all SAS models are able to reproduce customized drying and aging cycles, guaranteeing production in all seasons with any external climatic variation.

The refrigeration system protected by the resistant body consists of a hermetic compressor, complete with motor protection, a refrigerant expansion system via capillary tube, an evaporator (with air flow from 800 to 6500 m³/h) and condenser with 4-pole fan, equipped with speed variator for optimal condensation pressure.

he units are supplied already loaded with refrigerant and complete with liquid separator with a heat exchanger associated or located on the evaporator, dehydrating filter and pressure gauge of maximum calibration, fixed and automatic reset.

For small sized models the standard equipment includes the collection basin for the condensation water which is otherwise automatically evaporated during operation and disposed of through special piping.

The most powerful SAS versions are equipped with a double minimum and maximum pressure switch with adjustable setting, with automatic reset to guarantee a higher level of safety.

A distinctive feature of the SAS is the humidification-dehumidification system, necessary for the implementation of the drying and maintenance cycles.

Regulated directly by a electronic control unit, the operation of the humidity control system with electrical resistances is based on the water automatically introduced by the water network system to which the machine is connected.

The dehumidification phase precedes a recovery post-heating process while the temperature inside the room is regulated by electric heating.

The quick and easy installation of the SAS units on the wall is non-invasive to the room volume and requires a single hole where the evaporating part will be inserted, which does not require further connections.

The air inside the room is distributed with the help of a directional grid, equipped with adjustable fins both horizontally and vertically.

The standard equipment is completed with the electrical panel with safety fuses, the power cable (maximum 3m) and the cable with probe-holder panel (maximum 5m) for the precise monitoring of the humidity and temperature levels inside the entire room.

The SAS functions are easily programmable and customizable by means of a practical control unit with a remote control panel for adjusting temperature, humidity, operating times and stopping, concluding the profile of an efficient, high-accuracy machine suitable for meeting specific needs of the products and the user.
