DAKIN REFRIGERANTS POLICY
Reduce environmental impact from refrigerants and improve the energy efficiency of our products
Daikin is committed to reducing the greenhouse gas emissions of its products by reducing the impact of refrigerants and improving energy efficiency.
Daikin products are used throughout our daily life in homes, retail establishments, offices, hotels, factories, distribution warehouses, ships, and many other spaces.
Since the usage of equipment differs depending on the space and environment, it is important to select the refrigerant accordingly.
UNI EN ISO9001:2015
This standard specifies the requirements of a quality management system when an organisation:
a) is required to demonstrate its ability to regularly provide products or services that meet customer requirements and applicable mandatory requirements;
b) is aiming to increase customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for system improvement, and to ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable mandatory requirements.
All of these requirements are of a general nature and are intended to be applicable to all organisations, regardless of type or size, or to the products and services provided.
DIRECTIVE 2014/68/EU (P.E.D.)
Directive 2014/68/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15th May 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the availability of pressure equipment on the market.
WE NEVER FORGET THE PLANET
We recognise that even though our products use green technology, refrigeration still has an impact on our planet.
That’s why our goal is to counterbalance its effect on the planet.
Thanks to the Treedom project, we have the opportunity to help farmers plant trees with the technical support of the company in their planting and management.
Through these donations, which now include more than a thousand trees planted in Malawi and Cameroon, we are helping to reduce CO2.
